5 study tips need to crack NEET

NEET exams are notoriously difficult to crack, and it’s easy to get discouraged and give up. But if you study hard and follow these 5 study tips, you’re sure to be on your way to becoming a certified doctor (at least in your own mind).

Tip #1: Make a schedule for yourself

This is the most important step of all because it doesn’t matter how well you know the material if you don’t give yourself time to do some studying. You should schedule at least 15 minutes of timed practice for each topic that you need to study. This will ensure that the time is used as efficiently as possible and not wasted in social media browsing or watching YouTube videos.

Tip #2: Get good at remembering random information

If you truly want to be successful, you should care about being able to remember random factoids and trivia. Many of the questions that are going to come up on the exam are taken straight from a textbook, so try and get an overall grasp of all the information. The best way to do this is to simply absorb as much as possible—make sure that it doesn’t become boring before your first test.

Tip #3: Get good at solving problems

The best way to do this is to get a hold of some sample questions and try to find the answers. If you’re not sure how you would handle a certain problem, ask a tutor or someone else who is better at maths. It’s also important to pay attention in class, because it’s more likely than not that your teacher will ask similar questions on the exam.

Tip #4: Talk with other students about the material

There’s no better way to get motivated than talking with other people who are studying for the same thing that you are. You should take advantage of any opportunity to meet with other students who are taking the same class as you or even going for the same degree. It’s best to go over the material you’re studying with someone else, but if that’s not possible, try talking with your parents. Even though they might not have a medical degree, they might be able to help you remember information.

Tip #5: Don’t give up!

It’s understandable that it can get frustrating trying to study for exams that are several weeks away. And then when you finally get your hands on some sample questions, it doesn’t seem like much is sinking in.
